About Astwood Bank Open Gardens

Astwood Bank has a dedicated team, Astwood Bank in Bloom, who keep Astwood looking so good each year.

The gardens are all quite different and a couple of highlights include the topiary elephant and the miniature railway!

There is a choir performing in St. Matthias and St. George Church where there is also a flower festival.

But wait, there is more! There are children’s activities, a Bee observation hive, free Pimms, and Artists Portrait Prize Draw and a live Choir!

And an animal pantry – not sure what that is though.

Refreshments, including cream teas, are available in many of the gardens and church.

And there are discounts in pubs, clubs and cafes in the village. Win!

All proceeds this year go to local charities through the Astwood Bank Carnival.

There are plant sales at some gardens.

Toilet facilities will be available at this event.

Parking & Directions

The main parking facility is at The Ridgeway Secondary School, Evesham Road.

There is also parking at Astwood Bank Primary School.

Limited mobility parking is available at both locations.

Astwood Bank is south of Redditch in Worcestershire. It is situated on the A441 Evesham Road which is the main trunk road from Redditch to Evesham.

It is 20 minutes from Stratford upon Avon and about 30 minutes from Worcester. T
