A real family day out!
Beckford Open Village open its gardens every two years and offers a lot for all of the family with 14 gardens to look around in 2026.
Garden styles include lakeside settings, walled gardens, courtyards, cottage gardens and wild spaces.
There is also a peaceful nature reserve set around a tranquil lake.
This years theme is pollinators and is reflected in the flower display in the church and the children’s trail.
A bee keeper is on hand with an observational bee hive and to help you learn all about these amazing insects!
Various stalls and attractions will include plant sales, tombola, homemade preserves, and local honey.
There will also be classic cars, vintage radios, local arts, activities for children and lots more!
Excitingly there is a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast scheduled each afternoon (subject to weather and operational requirements).
Live music will add to the atmosphere and enjoyment with sets by the Foregate Brothers on both days.
Julie July and Paul Anthony will both perform on the Saturday, and the Winchcombe Community Choir will entertain you on the Sunday.
“ … enjoy a stroll in many beautiful and varied gardens …”
Proceeds
All proceeds go towards maintaining the church, and additional donations are made to other local charities and community groups.
