Opening Times: 10am to 6pm – 4pm or 5pm in low seasons

About Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Birmingham Botanical Gardens have been around since 1829 and is ‘the green heart of Birmingham‘.
There is plenty to see with a number of key featured garden areas in the 15 acre grounds.
From the Glasshouses with distinct area of Tropical, sub Tropical, Mediterranean, Alpine and Arid House.
The Pinetum and Alpine Gardens and the Collections have over 30,000 plants dotted around the grounds.
Watch out for the water features, Japanese Garden and Rock Gardens.
For the kids there are two play areas, The Children’s Playground and the Treetops Adventure Playground.
If you have a garden ticket you can get superb refreshments from the Medicine Bakery at the Gardens.
Look forward to locally roasted coffee, snacks, salad, cakes and sourdough bread!
There are also pop up stalls with a wide choice of food options.
The Garden’s Shop has ice cream, cold drinks and sweets.
Watch out around Christmas for their Winter Lights Trail.
