Branklyn Garden is a peaceful 2-acre hillside garden in Perth, loved for its rare plants, colourful rhododendrons, Japanese maples, Himalayan blue poppies and relaxing atmosphere.

About Branklyn Garden
Branklyn Garden is a smashing 2 cre garden created in 1922 and home to great seasonal planting.
From the Snowdrops Festival in Spring along with Himalayan blue poppies to Magnolias and Japanese Maple in Summer and the Katsura Tree with its burnt sugar scent in Autumn.
The creators John and Dorothy Renton wanted to feature rare plants and it really delivers with people coming from all over the world to enjoy particularly the rhododendrons, alpines and peat-garden plants.
Three plants are hosted in Branklyn as part of the National Collection – Cassiope, Meconopsis and Rhododendron (series Taliense).
You can take refreshments in the Tearoom which is open until 4pm serving home baking and light lunches.
The shop is open for gifts, ice creams, seeds and plants.
Accessibility at Branklyn Garden
The garden has a step free route and is paved with small gravel chip, bark path and grass. It is on slope. No level access to tearoom but lawn can be used in good weather.

Dogs welcome on short leads everywhere including the tearoom.
