About Brodie Castle & Estate

Brodie Castle & Estate has been the ancestral home of the Brodie clan for over 400 years.

You can take guided tours around the castle each day when open.

The gardens are famed for their amazing displays of daffodils, best seen in April, with over 100 varities on show.

The Castle is actually home to a National Daffodil Collection.

Take walks around the gardens via the pond and into the estate where you can do some wildlife spotting.

Watch out for red squirrels, badgers, ducks, wildfowl and dragonflies.

There are some hideouts for you to do the spotting from!

For the children there is the free to enter Playful Garden and also the woodland adventure playground.

There are a couple of options for refreshments with the The Castle Café and the The Playful Café.

Both of these also have gift shops within them and there is a second hand bookshop in the Castle.

Pretty accessible everywhere including ground floor of the castle.

Access around the pond and the woodland paths are suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters

Dogs at Brodie Castle & Estate

Dogs welcome on short leads everywhere apart from the Castle which is assistance dogs only. Be aware of livestock on the estate.
