About Carolside Gardens
Carolside Gardens are set in a former deer park with a beautiful Georgian mansion.
The gardens are best known for their collection of Roses and houses the National Collection of Gallica Roses.
So not surprisingly there is a Rose Garden as well as a Herb Garden, Secret Garden (look for the green Gothic door!), Winter Garden and an Apple Orchard.
Enjoy a river walk and take time for the views from the bridge.
But most of all enjoy the scent o all of the roses – heaven!
You can arrange for private tours of the gardens to include lunch, dinners afternoon teas throughout the year.
Dogs are allowed in the park, only on leads.
