About Careys Secret Garden

Careys Secret Garden is an award-winning hidden 3.5 acre Victorian Walled Garden and actually has a number of different gardens and features for you to enjoy

Some highlights, for me, include the Stumpery and the Wildflower Meadow.

There is also a Rose Garden, Arid Garden, Orchard and a no dig veggie garden.

The pond supports both amphibiams and birds with lots of natural shelter for the local wildlife.

Uniquely there is a full size piece of the Berlin Wall in the grounds. Interesting!

And local artists have sculptures on show. Smashing!

There are special groups for familiys and children,. Check the events page below.

As well as the gardens there is a coffee shop, The Secret Salt Pig Coffee Shop, serving hot & cold drinks and cakes and pastries.

And the Garden Shop has ethically sourced gifts and sustainable plants for sale.

There are many events taking place. So check those out here and coming in 2025 will be the Ospreys Tour! (£20 extra)

Only assistance dogs are allowed in the gardens.
