About Castle Ashby Gardens
Castle Ashby Gardens date back to the mid 1600’s and has evolved over the years to the garden you will now see and enjoy.
There are some standout features in the gardens from the 4 acre Walled Garden, Italian Garden, Butterfly Garden, Arboretum, Glasshouses including the Orangery and Fuchsia House.
The Menagerie is home to some super animals and birds including meerkats, pigs, marmosets, a miniature pony, a selection of birds, pygmy goats and more!
The Tearooms, open from March to December and free to all visitors, offer a selection of food and drink. Dog friendly too!
There is also a free children’s playground which is always a good thing!
Allow two to three hours for a good look around and to enjoy the Menagerie and have some tea and cake!
