About Crarae Garden
Crarae Garden describes itself as a ‘Himalayan-style glen’ – and who are we to argue as many of the trees and shrubs are from China, Nepal and Tibet!
Overlooking Loch Fyne in Argyll there is a bubbling burn that is crossed by multiple wooden bridges and with many trees you can follow the Champion Tree Trail at your leisure.
Crarae is well know also for its rhododendrons and the garden now has over 600 different rhododendrons and azaleas.
The café and shop offer tasty snacks, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options and they even offer ice creams for dogs!
Speaking of which…
Dogs are allowed in the grounds but on a short lead please – but they really are welcome!

Garden Parasol – Crank & Tilt – Perfect for Summer!

Garden Parasol – 5 colours – From Only £24.99! Ad
Reviews: Why you should go to Crarae Garden
Don’t take our word for how great these gardens are. Here is what visitors to the Crarae Garden had to say!
“Even our 5 year old who finds everything “so boring” had an amazing time scurrying about and looking at ponds, waterfalls and all the colours. “
” I had the most beautiful time at the Crarae Gardens! The colours of Autumn were stunning and so many gorgeous plants and trees.
The views were incredible. I also saw so many red squirrels dancing around the trees.
Such a special spot, very worth the stop!!”
