About Culross Palace and Garden

The Culross Palace Garden is actually a kitchen garden and is a partial recreation of the 17th Century palace garden.

The garden grows produce which is used in Bessie’s Cafe or to be sold.

Plants include medicinal ones, decorative and scented. And edible!

There are covered walkways and benches to sit on to relax and take it all in!

Bessie’s Cafe has soups, scones, cakes teas and coffees for sale with gluten-free and vegan choices.

There is indoor and outdoor seating for when the sun is shining.

Assistance dogs only are allowed in the garden and palace.

There are shops and other amenities in the village which was also used as a backdrop in the Outlander TV programme.
