About Culzean Castle and Gardens

Culzean Castle and Gardens is 240 hectares of fun just waiting to be explore including woods, beaches, parkland, a swan pond, deer park and cliffs.

There are four marked trails to follow with 17 miles of paths. Download a map up pick one up when you arrive.

And check out the walled garden, woodlands and famous swan pond for wildlife spotting. A guide is here. And will you see the llamas and red deer?

With the Castle perched on the cliff tops there are also 40 other buildings and secret follies dotted around the grounds. Can you find them all?

As well as the garden there are so many places to shop and eat including a second hand bookshop, cafe, ice cream parlour, farm shop and multiple children play areas. Phew!

Dogs only are allowed everywhere apart from the walled garden and playgrounds. Assistance dogs are allowed everywhere of course!
