About East Hendred Open Gardens
The East Hendred open gardens showcase 22 gardens across the village.
Styles include large formal gardens to cottage gardens with the gardens spread widely over the village.
So depending on your stamina plot a route which can take all of the gardens in or maybe just focus on a few closer together.
Some of the gardens have uneven surfaces and steps so are not suitable for those with mobility issues.
While you are doing your rounds don’t forget to check out the Hendred Vineyard to the north of the village.
There are refreshments including coffee, tea from the Hendred House garden.

“ … styles and use of colours and planting are amazing …”
