About Sutton Bonington Garden Walkabout
The Sutton Bonington Garden Walkabout, the 44th in 2026, involves around 35 gardens, so potentially a lot of walking.
This is a joint effort between the two villages of Sutton Bonington and Kingston on Soar.
However, the Soar Valley Bus will run between the villages offering FREE transport!!
There are wildlife friendly gardens, places to sit and rest your legs, views of the River Soar, a huge topiary rabbit and a fairy Glen tree!
In 2024 £6,819 was raised for the chosen charity Cancer Research UK.
Teas cakes refreshments are available around the gardens.

Proceeds
The proceeds from the open days are donated to Cancer Research UK.

Programmes on sale in advance from the village Post Office or Pasture Lane Store during June.
And at various points in the villages during the weekend.
