About Fenton House and Garden
Fenton House and Garden is an National Trust property and offers a garden which is an ‘ever-changing horticultural gem’.
There are some super garden features including a kitchen garden, sunken rose garden, 300 year old orchard with 32 varieties of apples and pears as well as lawns and terraces.
Expect to find exotic planting, topiary, herbaceous borders, banana plants, dahlias and geraniums. To name a few!
Take a picnic and get away from the busy City, at least for a wee while!
The 17th Century House has many interesting collections to see including 16th-century musical instruments (if you like harpsichords then you are in luck!), ceramics and art.
If you are lucky you will be able to hear the volunteers playing some of the musical instruments!
