About Glamis Castle & Gardens
Glamis Castle & Gardens are best know for being the childhood home of the late Queen Mother.
The gardens are actually a series of individual gardens ranging from the Kitchen Garden, Italian Garden, Woodland, Pinetum, Trails and River Walks.
And don’t miss out on The Macbeth Loop which is a set of seven sculptures to find from a scene from The Scottish Play!
Wildlife is plentiful with Red Squirrels, Roe Deer, Bees, Butterflies, Kingfishers and Otters.
For kids there are activity sheets from them to use for fun and education.
Dogs welcome on a lead.
There is a Gift shop and the Castle Kitchen provides refreshments and uses produce from the Kitchen Garden.
You can take a tour of the Castle which does cost extra.
There are events held at various times througout the year so the gardens may be closed. Check before you travel.
