About Grimsthorpe Castle Gardens
Grimsthorpe Castle Gardens have been around since the 1500’s and have evolved over the years.
Now you will epetc to see parteers, box hedges, herbaceuos borders and a vast lawn, ideal for kids, with views over to te lake.
And a special mention to the well known Kitchen Garden.
The gardens are a tranquil spot and you will find nice quiet places to relax.
The wider park is big, about 3,000 acres and 5 miles wide in places!
Watch out for the wildlife from buzzards, kites and of course the wild deer.
A tour of the Castle is available with a number of rooms to see including the Vanbrugh Hall, State Dining Room, Tapestry, Drawing Room and Bedroom.
Refreshments, take away, are available by the visitors entrance from The March Hare Tea Trailer.
And do visit the Farm Shop with local produce including venison from the estate.
For the kids there is the super Adventure Playground with climbing frames, zip wires, slides and swings.
There are plenty of events from exhibitions, yoga days and car rallys.

Dogs on are welcome in the grounds on a lead but preferably not in the garden or play area.
