About Harwich Town Secret Gardens
Secret Courtyards!
Now in its 16th year The Harwich Town Secret Gardens attract hundreds of visitors from afar afield as Paris, Thailand, India, Belgium, Holland and Louisiana!
In 2024 the event raised an impressive £2,000 despite the heavy rain.
There is an eclectic mix of often hidden gardens, courtyards, front gardens and townhouses.
All gardens are walkable distance of each other.
Refreshments are available in St Marys church and in the local pubs, cafe and restaurants.

Proceeds
The proceeds of the open gardens are shared between local good causes.
Tickets
Tickets can be bought ahead of the day from the Halfpenny Pier visitors centre, Harwich Museum and Deli 141 in Dovercourt High Street and at the weekend from St. Nicholas Church.
