About Hellens Manor

Hellens Manor is well known for its tapestry, paintings and textile conservation.

Take the house tour, its highly rated and about 75 minutes long.

The grounds and garden are an intriguing mix with the Physic garden a point of interest as is the Yew Labyrinth and a rare octagonal dovecote.

Expect to see some sculptures dotted around the grounds,standing stones and enjoy the woodland and wildflower meadow walks in 150 acres of dog friendly grounds.

The Tearoom, which visitors really like, at Hellens Manor offers a superb selection of homemade soups, cakes, cream teas and scones using their own eggs and vegetables from the garden.

Entry to the Tearoom and grounds is free – bring a picnic!

Keep an eye out for various events that take place during open season including musical concerts and a produce market each month.

Most areas of the grounds & tearoom are accessible with level access & ramp. The House has some uneven surfaces and the ground floor is partially accessible. Check here for accessibility information.
