About Herstmonceux Castle Gardens
Herstmonceux Castle Gardens are set in the 300 acre estate and are a set of formal and informal gardens.
These include the impressive Elizabethan Garden with roses climbing the walls.
Other unique gardens are the Sundial Garden, Apothecary Garden, Shakespeare Garden and the Magic Garden which is home to the estates magic folk. Also a shady place to rest on a hot summers day!
Take a walk through the Meadows or ramble with your dog through the Woodlands with stunning bluebells and mighty oaks.
Picnics are welcome and there are table and seating available.
And as well as the gardens there is The Castle Cafe and Terrace for hot and cold drinks and food including wine and beer.
There is a childrens play area including a rope maze!
Dogs are welcomeon leads throughout the gardens and grounds. Yay!
There are many events on so check their website to see ewhat is happening when you visit.
