About Helmsley Walled Garden
Helmsley Walled Garden is a series of smaller gardens set in a parallelogram fashion.
Done so in order to maximise the access to sun. Clever!
The gardens are not formal and some key areas to look out for include The Clematis Garden, The White Garden, The Secret Garden used in the 2018 film, The Garden of Contemplation, The Physic Garden and The Kitchen Garden.
Other interesting features include The Labyrinth, The Orchard, Orchid House and Picnic Lawn & Fruit Cage.
So lots to see and enjoy.
As well as the gardens there is The Vine House Café, Gift Shop and Plant Sales are open the same hours as the garden.
You do not need a ticket to use the The Vine House Café which serves food and beverages.
Dogs are welcome in all gardens.
