About Jodrell Bank Arboretum
Jodrell Bank Arboretum is a super 35 acre site dominated of course by the giant telescope dish (the Lovell Telescope), with some lovely picnic areas, pond and superb planting.
There are some smashing outdoor exhibits, pathways like the Exhibition route to follow and an indoor picnic area the Comet Lodge – just in case it rains.
Watch out for the wildlife, probably not many aliens though!
And for those looking to learn more about the stars and space there are four pavillions packed full of interest.
As well as the arboretum and grounds there are two cafes and a gifts shop and a small play area.
