About John’s Garden at Ashwood Nurseries
John’s Garden at Ashwood Nurseries is a super 8 acre private garden created by the late John Massey.
Containing some wonderful features including a rock garden, wildlife garden (open if weather conditions allow), trees, shrubs, conifers and pools.
There is also a ruin garden and lots of planting in pots and urns.
Planted for year round viewing Spring highlights include bulbs like tulips, narcissi and primroses, Summer hydrangeas and grasses, Autumn colour with crab-apples and acers and in Winter look out for snowdrops and willow.
Of course you must take time to visit the wonderful Garden Nursery and Tea Room which are open daily!
And the Gift Shop is packed full of gifts for ever occassion.
