Ardkinglas Woodland Garden is packed full of interest and inspiration from champion trees, rhododendrons, trails and wildlife.
The arboretum / pinetum has with magnificent views over Loch Fyne.
Take a walk through the seriously tall trees, one, Abies Grandis, was the tallest in the UK until a couple of years ago!
There are silver firs, red cedar and Patagonia cypress among others.
Red squirrels, sparrow hawks and buzzards may be spottable.
The Old Mill is worth a walk to for a wee nosey around and you may well happen across some sculpture by Andy McClintock.
For the children, and those young at heart, there is the super Gruffalo Trail & Fairy Trail which is free with entry to the gardens.
While the house is not open to the public you can book private tours and watch out on the events page for various opening days.
Speaking of which there are are plenty of events at Ardkinglas including musical concerts, cooking courses and yoga!
