About Kingston Lacy Garden

Kingston Lacy Garden is set inside the wider Holt Heath and parkland with cattle and sheep busy chomping on the grass.

The formal gardens consist of a Fernery, Cedar Avenue, Parterre, Nursery Wood and a seven acre Japanese Garden.

For the children there are a couple of plays areas, one in the woodland and one in the Kitchen Garden.

There is plenty to see and do beside the gardens with a shop selling plants, ceramics, furnishings etc, a Cafe with tables inside and out and a second hand bookshop.

Dogs are allowed in the parkland, woodland walks and inside the Stables Courtyard only.

Not allowed inside the house of formal gardens.

Assistance dogs are allowed everywhere of course!

At Christmas time the house is transformed with decorations and there is a Christmas Trail outside along with storytelling with Santa.
