About Lamb House Garden – A National Trust Garden
Lamb House Garden is famous for its very large Walled Garden along with its Vegetable Garden.
Highlights include wisteria and a lot of roses along with yellow loosestrife and salsify.
There are plenty of benches dotted around the grounds to take the weight of your feet.
The Vegetable Garden is productive due to the rich soil and walls creating ideal growing conditions for legumes and fruits.
The House is noted for its literary connections with writes such as Henry James and E.F. Benson and Rumer Godden living there.
Check out the Green Parlour where many of their great works were written. Inspiring!

Don’t take our word for how genuinely super these gardens are. Here is what visitors to Lamb House Garden had to say:
“The garden is not huge but delightful and is the largest in the town of Rye.”
“The gardens are much bigger that you would guess and beautiful. Very well worth a visit.”
“Beautifully presented house. The gardens are stunning, however. Me and my son spent most of our time outside.”
