About Nun Monkton Open Gardens

Nun Monkton Open Gardens has a selection of 9 varied gardens for you to enjoy.

Included in these are the lovely gardens at the Priory where you can also get tea and cake.

And while you are in the village go and visit St. Marys Church which is home to some beautiful William Morris & Co. stained glass designed by Edward Burne Jones.

Talks on the glass will be given at 12noon and 2pm by Suzanne Fagence.

All proceeds this year will go to the repair and maintainance of St. Marys Church.

There will be plants for sale, some grown by villagers and some from a local nursery.

Toilet facilities will be available at this event.
