About Plas Brondanw
Plas Brondanw is an amazing and very highly regarded garden created by Clough Williams-Ellis, who of course is famous for his better known village and garden at Portmeirion.
The garden is laid out as a series of rooms, linked by super views and packed full of interesting art and sculptures.
You will notice the Italian influence with pools, topiary, avenues of trees, fountains and walls.
There is a woodland walk with a toower folly to discover.
The gardens are not packed full of flowers in borders but is more geared up to highlight the views of teh mountains. Sounds very sensible to me!
The café at Plas Brondanw offers a super selection of homemade and local Welsh produce and is open from March to November, Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm.
Booking is essential for large groups!
The House is free to visit and has a contemporary art gallery and is also an arts centre and social hub.

There is disabled parking, access to the cafe and garden but the garden is not really suitable for wheelchair use.
Dogs at Plas Brondanw
Assistance dogs only are allowed in the garden.
Dogs can be walked in the woodland garden with a gate opposite the cafe.
