About Renishaw Hall Gardens

Renishaw Hall Gardens has 20 acres of gardens to explore including the woodland which children really enjoy as they discover the play area, cartoon characters and a jungle surprise!

As well as the award winning Italianate gardens there is also the National Collection of Yuccas, which houses over 40 species in the Orangery on the top lawn.

Spring brings bluebells and as the seasons progress you will see hybrid magnolias and oriental poppies.

Enjoy the walk around the lake spotting the various sculptures dotted around the grounds.

While you are at Renishaw you may want to book a guided tour of the Hall itself and there is also the Vineyard to tour as well!

Both do occur additional charges and the Vineyard tour needs to be booked in advance.

The cafe, which is open Thursday to Sunday, serves lights snacks and hearty lunches and it is recommended you book the afternoon tea.

Dogs are allowed in the gardens. Yippeee!

” The £10 entry for the garden was so worth it. It is an absolute haven and so magical..the formal gardens are truly beautiful and well maintained.

There is also a gorgeous wood, and some lovely walking paths down a hill to a beautiful lake.”

There is seats all around the gardens with beautiful views were you can stop and have something to eat and a cuppa.

The paths around the garden are easy to walk on and if you have a pushchair or wheelchair there are plenty of ramps and also it is dog friendly too. “
