Explore 16 beautiful gardens across the historic village of Rodmell, once home to Virginia Woolf.
Upper Village gardens open on 13 June and Lower Village gardens on 14 June 2026.
Enjoy teas, Pimms, ice cream, plant stalls, children’s games, live music, and village hospitality, with proceeds supporting St. Peter’s Church and local community assets.

About Rodmell Open Gardens
Rodmell Open Gardens have 16 gardens in 2026 for you to visit and enjoy.
Once the home to Virginia Woolf this historic village is packed full of historic literary charm!
This year the Upper Village gardens will be open on the 13th and the Lower Village gardens on the 14th!
Refreshments are available with #teas in the villaage hall and Pimms and ice cream en route.
The local pub, the Abergavenny Arms, open for lunches and drinks of course!
There are children’s games and some relaxing ambient music as well for those who wish to rest a while.
Proceeds to St. Peter’s Church and other Village assets for repairs and maintenance.
Local plant growers have stalls in some of the gardens.
Toilet facilities will be available at this event.
