About Snape Open Gardens

15 gardens both big & small!
The Snape Open Gardens offer about 15 gardens to look at over two days in late June.

The gardens are designed to inspire and captivate garden enthusiasts and casual visitors alike!

Supported by the Herriot Hospice Homecare there are plants sales and refreshments available.

Watch and listen to the Bedale Brass Band and take part in the raffle.

The proceeds of the open days go to ever excellent Herriot Hospice Homecare.

Tickets

Tickets are available from the village institute on the day. Pre booking is not necessary. A map if the gardens is included in the ticket price.

There are plant sales available on the village green.

Refreshments are available during this event at the village Institute including tea, coffee and sandwiches.

Toilet Facilities

Yes, there are toilets at the event and will be signposted on the days of the event.

Disabled Access

Some of the gardens have limited access due to gravel drives and steps. These will be signposted on the day.
Blue Badge spaces available.
The village itself is wheelchair, stroller/baby buggy friendly.

Look for directions to the car park on the days of the date of the event. Signposted from the Thorp Perrow Arboretum.
