Snowshill is unique, eclectic and very unlike a typical National Trust site.
The beautifully maintained Arts & Crafts gardens and orchards frequently exceed expectations, offering plenty to explore before or after touring the manor.
Many visitors highlight the passionate, friendly and highly knowledgeable volunteers who enhance the experience with engaging stories and helpful guidance.
While a few noted the gardens are smaller than expected or that exhibits lack labels, most guests felt the charm, character and immersive atmosphere made it a memorable and worthwhile day out.

About Snowshill Manor and Garden
Snowshill Manor and Garden is an Arts and Crafts garden styled so that as you move from one garden room to another you get a peek of something beyond – intriguing!
This is not your usual National Trust property!
Planting includes, Roses, Lupins, Dahlias, Geraniums and Wildflowers and the Orchard is crammed full of fruit.
Talk a stroll through the rooms and you will also happen across various artistic features such as the Nychthemeron Clock and the Wolfs Cove which is a model Cornish Village!
Snowshill has a Silent Space where you an just chill out or open the bench and get creative – what will you do?
The Manor, which was only really used to show of his collection, contains over 16,000 items collected by Charles Wade who also created the look and feel of the Manor and its various rooms like Dragon and Mermaid!
His bike collections quite extraordinary in the Attic Room called the Hundred Wheels.
While you are here at the gardens do check out the Cafe for some refreshments with inside and outside seating.
There is also a Gift Shop for souvenirs and homewares, a Second hand bookshop and the Plant Shop.
