The Garden at Pilsdon describes itself as ‘a relaxed space to wander, pause and enjoy West Dorset at a gentler pace.‘

Set in 2.5 acres just off the Jurassic coast this is an informal garden, connected to nature through natural evolution over time.
The plants chosen are those that thrive in the heavy clay soil as well as the local climate.
You will find a number of features in the garden from the Rose Garden, seasonal planting for year round interest, a relaxing pond with goldfish and for the young at heart there are outdoor games including snnakes and ladders and croquet.
There are picnic benches in the Courtyard and you can enjoy excellent homemade cakes,tea, coffee, ice cream and soft drinks on the formal lawn served from the old horse trailer!

Mrs M B loved the beautiful, fragrant roses, relaxing atmosphere, afternoon tea, cakes and welcoming host Rob. She said it was definitely worth visiting and planned to return.
TJ KP said they were beautiful gardens with lovely pond to spot dragonflies. Delicious cakes and coffees too.
Tim Derrett noted that the owners are very friendly and provide great coffee and home made cakes in a comfotable courtyard setting.
