About Tibshelf Open Gardens

Tibshelf Open Gardens welcomes you to explore their 16 gardens over two days.

A varied selection awaits you including Tibshelf Ponds which is part of the Silverhill Trail.

And watch out for Ford Lodge which is an NGS garden and opening up for this event!

The  Chesterfield Art Group have a free exhibition on show at the village hall.

Refreshments are served in the Church where you will also find exhibitions, stalls and entertainment.

Sales of locally grown plants are available at the Church where there is a pay and pick up service. Good idea!

I understand there are a lot of plants so get ready to take some home!

All proceeds from this years event go to the upkeep and maintenance of St. John’s Church to enable its continued operation as a community asset.

Toilets facilities are available.

Parking & Directions

Parking is available at the Village Hall, High street, Staffa Health Waverley Street, RS fitness(after 12.00noon), High Street Five Pits Trail off Back Lane and Tibshelf Ponds.

There is also plenty of on-street parking. See the map on our Facebook page.

Limited mobility parking only at the Five Senses office car park, High Street, just a short walk to the church.
