About Waltham Place Garden

Waltham Place Garden is part of a 220 acre organic and biodynamic farm and garden where you can learn about naturalistic gardens and the importance of sustainability and biodiversity.

There is a lot to see with the many individual walled gardens such as the Potager, Japanese Garden, Friars Walk, Butterfly Garden, Grass Maze, Herb Garden and Long Borders.

There is also the Parkland and a 12 acre Woodland to explore.

As part of the Farm there is a walled kitchen garden over an acre in size producing fruits, vegetables and herbs throughout the year.

Conservation plays a big part of running the Waltham Estate ensuring the ecosystem is naturally managed.

With lots of wildlife to spot such as bees, moths, bats, spiders, birds and mammals.

When visiting there is The Barn for lunch and The Farm Shop offering seasonal produce including biodynamic fruit, vegetables, organic preserves, raw Jersey milk and home-reared biodynamic and organic meat.

Dogs are allowed in the gardens on a lead.

There is a No Photography policy – just enjoy the moment!
