About Westonbirt, The National Arboretum
Westonbirt, The National Arboretum is big! With 600 acres and 17 miles of tracks to follow in the three distinct areas.
And so much to see! There are 15,000 specimens and 2,500 species of tree from all over the globe for you to check out!
Walks include Self Guided trails, Stick Man Trail and Wallace and Gromit themed walks.
And the bird hide is popular for a bit of spotting!
As well as the Arboretum there are three dining facilities, The Smokehouse, The Pantry and The Kitchen offering fresh food and drink.
The Westonbirt Shop has a selection of gifts, souveniers, homeware, food and hand made wooden gifts.
And you will find lots of events, guided tours and concerts for you to attend or take part in.
Dogs are welcome in two thirds of the Arboretum and not in one third – get a doggie map here

“Beautiful forest and woodland areas with stunning maple trees with dramatic colours. The whole site is very well laid out and maintained.”
Enjoy beautiful walks amongst the many varieties of trees and plants.
This is a great location for young or old. Good wheelchair access and very dog friendly.
