Bodnant Garden has 80 acres of gardens for you to walk through. Should be enough to keep everyone happy!
Now a Grade 1 Listed historic garden there are formal gardens, shrub-filled glades, arboretum, meadows and woods, dells and water gardens.
With rose beds, pools, rivers, native and exotic trees, magnolias and rhododendrons this creates a wonderful setting for picnics as well as exploring.
When you have walked around there is a play area for the kids if they still have any energy and you can eat and drink at the tea rooms and kiosk.
Dogs are welcome on short leads from every day from 1 October – 31 March and every Thursday to Sunday, from 1 April to the end of September. (not including Bank Holidays)

The best time to visit Bodnant Gardens is in late May and Early June for golden blooms of the magnificiant Laburnum Arch.

“What an absolutely stunning place! This was one of the most beautiful gardens. We spent hours here, also having a lovely picnic.
Plenty of places to have a picnic and benches.
Lots of places to walk to see all the different areas of the gardens takes a few hours but it’s really worth it. I would love to visit again. “
