About The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens, Wells
The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens in Wells offers you a chance to walk through the 14 acres of gardens. All surrounded by a moat!
Now Grade 2 listed there have been gardens hers since the 13th Century and from the South Garden and East Garden you can experience early 1820’s planting and borders to roses, yew trees and relaxing pools of water in the Wells garden.
And of all that is too much go and take in the tranquillity of The Quiet Garden which was opened in 2013.
Nowadays you can also visit the Chapel, Palace and Dragons lair – if you dare!
