About Charlecote Park
Charlecote Park is one designed by Capeability Brown and overlooks the River Avon and has been, and still is, home to the Lucy family.
The house has a number of rooms to view including the library, dining room and billiards room. The first floor is only accessible by stairs where you can see the ebony bedroom and its library of memories.
You can enjoy a walk through the parkland with plenty of wildlife and farming stock.
The garden has some lovel features from the riverside parterre, Victorian summerhouse, a woodland garden and topiary.
There are plenty of options for refreshments with the Orangery Restaurant serving lunches and light bites and the Wood Yard Café also serves light bites. And on busy days the Stables Gardens trailer is open for ice creams and snacks. At least one of these will be open each day from 9.30am.
The bookshop is situated in the old stables and the Servants’ Hall Shop is behind the Victorian Kitchen selling giftware.
Avenue Plants sells plants, gardening equipment and outdoor liftestle products.
