About Corsham Court

Corsham Court is a privately owned house currently occupied by James Methuen-Campbell, an eighth generation of Methuen’s to live there.

Capability Brown helped redesign the house and gardens. He gets everywhere!

The house is open for tours taking in a number of rooms, paintings and furniture.

Extended tours can be arranged as can group bookings.

The gardens extend to about 17 acres where you can expect to find a pond, formal gardens, a rose garden, box hedging, climbers, magnolias and long herbaceous borders.

There is an additional young, 18 acre arboretum with an Elizabethan conduit house.

Corsham Park is open to walkers with three public paths – keep dogs on leads during lambing season.

No motorised wheelchairs allowed. Free entry to wheelchair users and carers. All areas are accessible.

Dogs at Corsham Court

Dogs are allowed in the gardens.
Assistance dogs only in the house.
