About Doddington Place Gardens
Doddington Place Gardens is set in 10 acres of woodlands with a super Victorian mansion.
The Woodland Garden is best seen between May and June with its displays of rhododendrons and azaleas.
There are a number of other unique gardens and features including the large Rock Garden, Formal Sunken Garden, Yew Hedges, Pools, Trees and a flint and brick Folly.
For great views climb up the Wobbly Tower – a newish addition to the gardens!
As well as the gardens there is the Doddington Place Gardens Tearoom where you can get refreshments including homemade cakes!
You can take a picnic in the woodlands but they are not really encouraged in the gardens themselves.
Having taken part in the National Garden Scheme for over 50 years watch out for events like their Snowdrop Day in February.
Accessibility
All areas are accessible apart from the rock garden.
And some areas of the woodland have uneven paths.

Don’t take our word for how genuinely super these gardens are. Here is what visitors to Doddington Place Gardens had to say:
“The rock garden is particularly beautiful and calming. The wild yellow grasses flowing in the wind give the garden a unique charm. “
“A little hidden away jewel. The gardens maybe small, but are abundant with a lovely variety of flowers and shrubs.
We spent a lovely few hours walking round the grounds and the tea and cake was a treat after the walk. “
“Absolutely hidden gem, plenty of easy parking, kid and pet friendly, quiet, relaxed country side as it should be.”
