About Evenley Wood Garden

Evenley Wood Garden is a privately owned 60 acre woodland packed full of unusual trees, shrubs, lilies and due to its acidic soil also rhododendrons, camellias and magnolias.

Each season brings its own display from hellebores, my favourites, and daffodils and bluebells in Spring to roses, clematis and pears in summer.

Autumn brings change with the changes in tree colours from maples and acers to fresh magnolia and rhododendrons.

Winter shows us snowdrops and crocus – and plenty more besides these.

Wildlife is abundant with many birds, butterflies and moths to be spotted.

You are welcome to bring picnics to the gardens. Just find a nice spot so you can enjoy the peace and quiet.

There are a number of shelters dotted around the gardens for when you need to rest, or chill out!

The Pavilion Cafe, Uncle Geordie’s Shed, is open every day apart from Monday for refreshments including fersh, local food.

A map is available to be picked up when getting your tickets.

There is a wild play area for kids the Wildwood Adventure Play – let them run riot!
