About Haddo House & Garden

Haddo House & Garden is a William Adam designed stately home, in the Palladian style, set 20 mile north of Aberdeen.

Tours are available of the house, no self guided ones allowed, with its sumptuous furniture and many painting including 85 by James Giles.

As for the garden it is a terrace style with some key features including the terrace, herbaceous border, Jubilee Border, Fernery, Lady Aberdeen’s secluded Corner Garden and the Specimen trees on the lawns.

Speaking of which there are 18 varieties of Waxcaps at Haddo!

There are superb views from the terrace garden across Haddo Country Park.

As well as the house and garden you will find the Old Stables shop selling gifts.

And the Courtyard Cafe Tearoom selling delicious homemade baking and sweet treats changed daily!

Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Haddo Country Park is accessible via the lime tree lined road with its great walks and facilities.
