About Hare Hill Gardens
Hare Hill Gardens main feature is the walled garden which is home to some wonderful planting and wildlife.
As you wander around you will see unusual foxgloves, planted borders, azaleas and tulips.
A lot of the garden is planted in white as was the wishes of the former owner.
And step into the bird hides to catch a view of the blue tits, tree creepers and woodpeckers.
There are two equestrian wire sculptures as a memorial and a pergola.
It’s a perfect spot for a picnic on a summers day!
As well as the gardens there is a Kiosk serving takeaway hot and cold beverages and a second hand bookshop.
For children there is a ntaural play area with swings and den building – cool!
You can explore the wider parkland using the permissive path to Alderly Edge where there is likely to be livestock on the land.
Assistance dogs only welcome in the walled and wooded garden.

Visitor Reviews of Hare Hill Gardens

Don’t take our word for how genuinely super these gardens are. A bit underrated if you ask us! Here is what visitors to Hare Hill Gardens had to say:
“Great for kids and elderly people to enjoy the nature, song of the birds and neat flowers at summer time.”
“Such a beautiful place to have a little wander, appreciate the gorgeous flowers and slow down for an hour or so!”
“What an amazing place! There’s a brilliant woodland garden with some very special Rhododendrons, Camelia’s and Azeleas.
It’s a stunning place in spring. Then, as a contrast, there’s a very well maintained walled garden with some nice places to sit.”
