Hill of Tarvit Mansion is an elegant Edwardian home built to display Frederick Sharp’s wealth, filled with art, antiques, tapestries and porcelain.
Surrounding it are 113 hectares of beautifully designed gardens featuring terraces, topiary and a sunken rose garden, alongside woodland walks rich in wildlife such as red squirrels and deer.
Visitors can enjoy seasonal children’s activities, scenic walks and light refreshments from the golf clubhouse, making it a varied and engaging day out.

About Hill of Tarvit Mansion & Garden
Hill of Tarvit Mansion is an Edwardian house bult to showcase the wealth of Frederick Sharp.
While it was only lived in for a short time it is packed full of interesting objects, art ,furniture, Flemish tapestries, Chinese porcelain and a lot more!
The 113 hectares of gardens are a mix of formal planting in sheltered areas creating ideal microclimates for less hardy plants to thrive.
There are terraces, amazing topiary and a sunken rose garden and lots of access to waymarked woodland walks.
Wildlife is varied with badgers, bats, red squirrels, woodpeckers, roe deer and buzzards.

You can get takeaway snacks and drinks from the golf clubhouse.
During the summer, July 1st to 30th August, there are children activities from 9am to 5pm.
