The gardens cover 16 acres of which two acres are formal lawns and flowerbeds with colour all through the open season.
The rest of grounds are given over to park and woodland and are open 365 days a year with a small charge for parking.

Expect to see Daffodils, Heathers, Roses, Rhododendrons and Azaleas, specimen trees like Cedrus Deodars and Sequoiadendron Wellingtonia.
And of interest are the ‘Flag-Borders’, the paths having been laid out in the shape of the Scottish flag no less!
