About King Henry’s Walk Garden
King Henry’s Walk Garden is a community garden which opened in 2007 and allows locals to grow plants, veg & relax. Super!
Set in the middle of Islington its a lovely oasis away from the busy North London shops.
Run by volunteers using organic gardening methods there are a number of plots which promote plant and animal diversity.
The garden was designed with accessibility in mind, yay, and expect to see some Newts in the pond and Bees in Docwra’s Wood.
Plenty of space on the lawn for a lovely summer picnic.
There are events and educational programmes with talks and workshops as well such as the Winter Fair and Making the most of your veg plot in Spring & Summer.
