About Museum of the Home Gardens
Museum of the Home Gardens are bang next to Hoxton Tube Station and a series of Alms Houses with the Walled Herb Garden a key feature.
There are really three gardens, the Kingsland Road Garden which is a green space to relax and enjoy and maybe take a picnic.
And the super interesting Gardens Through Time which take you on a journey of how gardens have evolved since the 1600’s.
In these gardens you will find the Herb Garden, Knot Garden, cottage Garden, Practical Garden, Green Roof Garden, Bold Garden and Neat Garden!
And the Together We Grow Discovery Garden developed by children and local communities to help understand all about growing food, nature and sustainability.
You can of course also take a tour of the Alms Houses with period rooms through the ages.
And for kids there are trails, a sensory den and a mini playhouse.
There is also a small Gift Shop.
