About Lavenham Open Gardens
Lavenham is a super medieval village with lots of classic timber framed buildings and narrow lanes. A bit like York.
Anyway, this year there re 26 gardens for you to visit.
Expect a good variety from courtyards and some secret , normally hidden spaces!
There is also a specialist gardeners market and if you hang round live music.
Teas, coffees and cakes are all available – phew!
Proceeds this year go to St. Nicholas Hospice, Lavenham Community Council and local charities.
Plant sales from The Gardeners Market in the market Place with specialist nurseries and garden related stalls.
There are also plant sales in some gardens. My experience is to get in early if you want the good stuff!
Toilets will be available at this event.
