About South Zeal Open Gardens

South Zeal and South Tawton Open Gardens have 14 gardens open for you to visit, enjoy and get inspired by.

Expect to see some great Dartmoor views – get the camera’s ready.

Refreshments are provided in the Victory Hall with ploughmans lunches, famous puddings and best of all afternoon teas!

There is live musical entertainment from ‘Emily’s Balmaidens’ and ‘Moor Harmony’.

Don’t miss out on the new model railway displays, ‘The Big Pot Project’ by the South Tawton Primary School pupils.

And there is also a natural wildflower and orchid meadow. Phew, that’s a busy old day ahead!

All proceeds of this years event go to the Victory Hall.

There will be a plant sale and tool sale which is nice. I love being able to pick up random tools!
