About Midgley Open Gardens
Midgley Open Gardens have about 11 gardens for you to enjoy in early June this year.
Set in the Pennine hills with challenging conditions there are a variety of gardens from small courtyards to the current good trend of wildlife gardens.
Many have super views over the Calder Valley and this year a number of artist studios will be open as well in some of the participating gardens.
Bring your camera or charge your phone as there will be some great photographic / Instagram opportunities!
And the good news is that homemade lunches and refreshments are served at the Community Room and at some of the gardens.
All proceeds in 2026 go to the Midgley Community Forum.
Toilets are available at this event.
